Los Angeles Crime Scene Cleanup Writing

Here we find narrative, writing, for those with an interest in both crime scene cleanup and writing. Others may care to visit this page for writing information. I especially encourage Los Angeles Unified School District students to visit this page from time to time. Begin to fill in those education gaps that you know you encountered.

In the beginning we have three approaches to cover. The first deals with more advanced material. The second with less intense writing, and the third with essentials for writiing.

So here we begin with the more advanced ideas, which may seem boring to some, but to others these ideas will become useful.

You have an idea. Call it a theme.

The Theme

Begin by explaining "who, what, when, where, why, how" for your audience. Know your audience as well.

The deeper you go into writing the, the easier it becomes to becomes to forget your context. What are you writing about? For this reason we often find writing that starts out well enough, and then begins to wonder off in a direction we would rather not go.

Imagine that you want to read about bloodborne pathogens, you find an article about bloodborne pathogens, and you begin reading. It starts of something like the following:

Theme: Bloodborne Pathogens

Bloodborne pathogens are germs carried in human blood and they cause disease and death.

So far, so good. This theme continues in the second paragraph:

While germs of many types invade our bodies from many sources, bloodborne pathogens enter our bodies from blood and other human body fluids.

Now we are talking, but something goes south:

We expect everyone to pay attention to their friends and families. Know what these people think about you will have an enormous influence on you.

Sddenly our writer brings up our concern about how others see us. Up to this point we knew what we were reading about, bloodborne pathogens. We read about what they are, germs. We even learned how they spread, by human blood and human body fluids.
